
Kelly Fisher
Kelly Fisher, DCN, RD, LD, FNAP, is the Scientific Chief of Staff for the Texas A&M Institute for Advancing Health Through Agriculture. In this role, she assists the IHA leadership team by providing support to advance the diverse research portfolio of the Institute.
Dr. Fisher was previously an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice and Director of the Combined BS/MS Program in Dietetics in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at TCU. She has also worked in the areas of clinical nutrition (both adult and pediatric), community nutrition in the Women, Infant and Child (WIC) Program and the Extended Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), and in the outpatient and long-term care settings.
Dr. Fisher completed her Doctor of Clinical Nutrition (DCN) degree from Rutgers University, School of Health Professions (Newark, NJ). She graduated from Texas Christian University (TCU) with a BS in the Coordinated Program in Dietetics and has a MS in Nutrition from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. She is a Registered Dietitian (RD) and Licensed Dietitian (LD).
