
Vi Luong
Vi Luong is the Healthy Living Program & Operations Manager and Senior Research Specialist with the Texas A&M Institute for Advancing Health Through Agriculture, overseeing research administration and implementation, departmental administration, staffing, and operations. She joined Texas A&M AgriLife Research after working for 14 years at the University of Rochester, where she also received her MS in Health Professions Education. She has worked in a project management and research operations capacity across various social and behavioral health research focus areas as well as clinical domains in primary care, oncology and hematology, dentistry, and oral health. Her past research experience includes work on phase I-IV oncology trials, cancer-associated thrombosis clinical trials, dental practice-based research networks (PBRN), clinical evaluations of implant-supported/assisted dental prostheses, and community-based participatory research (CBPR) approaches to address healthcare disparities.
Vi also brings a creative edge to her work as a graphic designer specializing in scientific conceptual model illustrations, website design, and visual communication. Her creative work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of General Internal Medicine, OncoTargets and Therapy, Journal of Palliative Medicine, and Expert Review of Pharmacoeconomics & Outcomes Research.
