
Jacob Szeszulski
Jacob Szeszulski, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at Texas A&M AgriLife Research in the Department of Nutrition and at the Institute for Advancing Health through Agriculture (IHA). His primary research interest is in the development, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination of school- and community-based physical activity and nutrition programs for youth. Specifically, he is interested in understanding policies, systems, and environments that affect youth physical activity and nutrition, identifying organizational and contextual factors that affect the delivery of school- and community-based programs, and using community-based participatory research approaches to reduce disparities in youth’s health behaviors and subsequent health outcomes. Dr. Szeszulski received his PhD at Arizona State University in Exercise and Nutritional Science and completed a post-doctoral fellowship focused on Dissemination and Implementation Science at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
